Karachi (Turkiya News) – Pakistan’s auto sector is achieving historic progress, laying a strong foundation for the country’s industrial growth. The Securities and Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) is playing a key role in promoting development and investment in the sector.
Pakistan’s auto industry is not only meeting domestic demand but is also prepared for expansion at the global level. The sector’s production capacity has reached 500,000 units annually, while February 2026 saw a remarkable 51% year-on-year increase in passenger car sales, totaling 13,388 units – reflecting strong industrial growth.
Experts say that with robust production capacity and rising demand, Pakistan’s auto sector is becoming a key area for investment. The support of SIFC and an investor-friendly environment have played an important role in industrial expansion and economic recovery.
