Punjab Pavilion Becomes Center of Attention at World Urban Forum

Lahore (Turkiye Khabar) Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif inaugurated the Punjab Pavilion at the World Urban Development Forum being held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that the Punjab Pavilion was receiving special attention at the global forum and was effectively showcasing Punjab’s development projects at the international level.

She appreciated the performance of the pavilion staff and received briefings on various development programs. During the visit, she toured different stalls and observed modern artificial intelligence-related technologies. Federal Minister for Climate Change Musadik Malik was also present on the occasion.

A documentary film highlighting the Punjab government’s welfare initiative “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” was also presented at the pavilion, showcasing houses constructed under the scheme and other public welfare measures.

After watching the documentary, representatives of international media and foreign delegations applauded the Punjab chief minister’s initiatives. According to officials, more than 100,000 houses have been completed under the project within just one year.

Delegates participating in the forum described the Punjab government’s urban development projects, public welfare programs, and housing schemes as positive progress.
