PTI founder shifted to PIMS for medical examination

Rawalpindi (Turkiye News): The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, who is currently imprisoned in Adiala Jail, has been transferred to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad for a medical examination.

According to sources, the PTI founder was moved from the jail to the hospital under strict security arrangements, where a team of specialist doctors will conduct a detailed medical assessment.

Reports indicate that a special examination of his eyes will also be carried out during the medical check-up. Further treatment and medical measures will be decided after the doctors submit their report.

Extraordinary security arrangements were put in place during the transfer, while surveillance in and around the hospital was also significantly tightened.

Sources say that after the completion of the medical examination, the PTI founder is likely to be shifted back to Adiala Jail.
