Dera Ghazi Khan (Turkey News) Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the nationwide protest call given against inflation, load-shedding, and government measures has been postponed for the time being, but it has not been cancelled.
While talking to the media during his visit to Khosa House in Dera Ghazi Khan, he offered condolences to the family of late Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa and also met his sons.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that he had long-standing and cordial relations with Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, and they used to consult each other on various political matters.
Paying tribute to the late leader, he said that Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa was not only an important leader of his tribe but of the entire region, and his services will always be remembered.
Speaking about the regional situation, he said that due to tensions between Iran and the United States, pressure on the Muslim world has increased and its effects are being felt across the region.
