Quetta: Young Doctors’ strike against acid attack, emergency services continue

Quetta (Turkey News) Young Doctors have gone on strike in protest against the acid attack incident and have boycotted all medical services in government hospitals across Balochistan except emergency services.

Doctors took out a protest rally and chanted strong slogans against the Secretary Health Balochistan, the Medical Superintendent of Civil Hospital, and the security in-charge. The protesters demanded the suspension of the concerned officials and full protection for doctors in hospitals.

On the other hand, according to Balochistan government spokesperson Babar Yousafzai, the Chief Minister of Balochistan will meet the Young Doctors after arriving in Quetta, and the government will consider their legitimate demands.

According to the initial medical report, the condition of acid attack victim Dr. Mah Noor is out of danger and satisfactory. She is currently under treatment at a private hospital in Karachi.

Furthermore, the Chief Minister of Balochistan has also announced a civil award for Abdul Razzaq Torkai, who helped the female doctor during the incident.
