Ankara (Turkiya News) — President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan participated via telephone in an iftar dinner organized by the Union of International Democrats (UID) in Brussels, the capital of Belgium.
The dinner was also attended by AK Party Deputy Chair Zafer Sariakaya and Najmuddin Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the İlmi Yama Foundation.
In his telephonic address, President Erdoğan said:
"I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the young members of the International Democrats on this blessed and special night of Ramadan, which begins with mercy, continues with forgiveness, and ends with deliverance from eternal punishment. May your night be blessed and your future bright, God willing. Tonight in Ankara, we shared a meaningful iftar with young people and athletes, and after iftar, I returned to Istanbul where I met with youth. We experienced the joys of Ramadan together. Once again, I send my heartfelt greetings to all of you."
