President Ilham Aliyev Visits Baku Expo Center, Reviews Household Waste Collection Vehicles

Baku (Turkiye Khabar) – Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev reviewed household waste collection vehicles at the Baku Expo Center. These vehicles were manufactured at the Ganja Automobile Factory under the directive of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and will be distributed to various cities and districts across the country.

Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Rashad Ismayilov and Khanlar Fatih, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Ganja Automobile Factory, briefed the President on the project.

Under the project, a total of 70 municipal vehicles have been produced, each with a capacity of 22 cubic meters. These vehicles will be dispatched from two locations – in front of the Baku Expo Center and from the premises of the Ganja Automobile Factory – to 58 cities and districts of Azerbaijan.

The Ganja Automobile Factory was established in 1986 on the initiative of national leader Heydar Aliyev. Production began in 2004 under the order of President Ilham Aliyev. Currently, the factory employs approximately 500 workers.
