Islamabad (Turkiye Khabar) – President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have congratulated the new leadership in Bangladesh on their success in the parliamentary elections and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to continued cooperation.
According to Express News, President Zardari extended his congratulations to Tariq Rahman for the resounding victory of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and praised the Bangladeshi people for holding peaceful and transparent elections. In his message, the President also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to a strong democratic partnership and joint development with Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed heartfelt congratulations from the people and government of Pakistan to Tariq Rahman on the outstanding success of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party.
