Baku (Turkey News): Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev visited the Iranian embassy in the country to offer condolences over the deaths of senior Iranian leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei’s associates and several civilians.
Iranian Ambassador Mojtaba Demirchlu welcomed President Aliyev. The president wrote heartfelt words in the condolence book and later held discussions with the ambassador.
President Aliyev said he will always remember his meetings with Ayatollah Khamenei during visits to Iran as pleasant memories. Ambassador Demirchlu thanked President Aliyev for visiting the embassy to express condolences.
