Washington (Monitoring Desk): A significant development has emerged amid ongoing tensions involving Iran in the Middle East, as Donald Trump has claimed that the current conflict could come to an end within the next two to three weeks, adding that Iran would not need any new agreement for this to happen.
Meanwhile, Kuwait has confirmed that an Iranian attack caused a massive fire in fuel storage tanks at its international airport, spreading panic across the area.
At the same time, airstrikes by Israel and the United States continue across various parts of Iran. Reports indicate that pharmaceutical facilities and steel factories in Isfahan and Farkhshahr have been targeted.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated in an interview that he has no confidence in any potential negotiations with the United States. According to him, while messages have been received from Washington, no formal talks are currently taking place.
The situation in Lebanon is also becoming increasingly tense. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has announced that homes in southern Lebanon will be demolished and that a large number of displaced Lebanese civilians will not be allowed to return.
Experts warn that the escalating tensions in the region could not only trigger a humanitarian crisis but also pose serious threats to global peace and the economy.
