Palestine Will Not Be Left Alone: Erdoğan’s Firm Declaration

Ankara (Turkiah News): Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has taken a firm and clear stance on the situation in Palestine at the start of the new year, declaring that the Palestinian people are not alone and that Israel’s aggression will not go unanswered.

He said that the scene witnessed at the Galata Bridge on New Year’s Day delivered a historic message to the world, reflecting Türkiye’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people.

President Erdoğan also announced a major diplomatic development, revealing that he is scheduled to meet U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday. The meeting will include detailed discussions on the Russia–Ukraine war and the Palestinian issue, and is expected to lead to new developments in global and regional affairs.

Speaking about Türkiye’s economic outlook, President Erdoğan said the country has entered 2026 under positive conditions. He noted a downward trend in inflation and continuous improvement in the central bank’s foreign exchange reserves.

He expressed hope that 2026 would prove to be a year of growth, stability, and achievements for Türkiye.
