Islamabad (Turkey News) – China has praised Pakistan’s role in the Middle East situation, emphasizing the importance of dialogue for resolving conflicts.
Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, during a press conference, said that Pakistan’s mediation efforts in the Middle East are commendable, and China supports resolving disputes through negotiations rather than the use of force.
He stated that China opposes unilateral actions and power politics, and is against subordinating international law to any country’s domestic laws.
The ambassador further stressed that non-military targets should not be attacked and that the security of maritime routes must be ensured at all costs. He made it clear that China’s mediation efforts will continue until the conflict is resolved.
According to him, ongoing actions in the Middle East are in violation of the United Nations Charter, and the international community should take notice.
