Islamabad (Turkiye News) Pakistan’s political and military leadership has once again reaffirmed its resolve that no compromise will be made on national defense, sovereignty, and the protection of citizens, while any aggression by the enemy will be met with a strong and decisive response.
During Indian provocations last year, Pakistan had clearly warned that any misadventure would lead to serious consequences. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar expressed complete confidence in the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Armed Forces and said that the armed forces remain fully prepared at all times for the protection of citizens and national security.
On May 8, 2025, the media wing of the Pakistan Army, Inter-Services Public Relations, while exposing Indian provocations, stated that all Israeli-made Indian drones that entered Pakistan’s airspace had been successfully destroyed.
The DG ISPR had said on the occasion that India’s aggressive policies had pushed the entire region toward the risk of war, however Pakistan demonstrated responsibility and restraint. He had also made it clear that if Pakistan responds, the impact would be felt across the world.
Pakistan’s military leadership reiterated its commitment to taking every possible measure for the defense of national borders and security, and to thwart any hostile action by the enemy.
According to international defense experts, despite repeated warnings India continued its provocative approach, resulting in international embarrassment, while Pakistan maintained the regional balance of power through its military strategy, defense preparedness, and professional capabilities.
