Islamabad (Turkiye News) A special ceremony was organized by the Pakistani Embassy in Russia on the occasion of the first anniversary of the “Battle of Truth,” highlighting national unity, resilience, and Pakistan’s role in regional peace and stability.
The event was attended by members of the Pakistani community residing in Russia, students, business personalities, and individuals from different walks of life.
Addressing the ceremony, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia Faisal Niaz Tirmizi said that the “Battle of Truth” is an important chapter in Pakistan’s history, which showcased the nation’s unity, courage, and determination before the world.
He said that a year ago, in response to Indian aggression, Pakistan reacted in a highly responsible, balanced, and internationally lawful manner, which was also taken seriously at the global level.
According to the ambassador, at that critical stage, the political and military leadership demonstrated complete coordination and wisdom to safeguard national interests and the country’s defense, while the Pakistani public also set an example of unity and solidarity.
