Pakistani Spinners Change the Game in Test Cricket, Says Mohammad Nawaz

Dhaka (Sports Desk): Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz has stated that the trend in Test cricket in Pakistan has significantly changed, with spinners not only performing better but also playing a decisive role in match outcomes.

Speaking to Bangladeshi media, Nawaz said that in the past, most Test matches in Pakistan ended in draws due to flat pitches, but in recent years, spinners have altered this perception with their skill and impact.

He noted that although Pakistan has always relied on world-class fast bowlers, it is encouraging to see spinners playing a key role in winning series.

According to Nawaz, the successful performances of players like Nauman Ali, Sajid Khan, and Yasir Shah send a positive message to young spinners that they should take the Test format seriously and work on honing their skills.

Regarding the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), he mentioned that it has now become a global brand attracting players from around the world, although occasional negative news is unfortunate. Nawaz added that he has been playing in the BPL for five to six seasons and always enjoys participating in the tournament.
