Islamabad (Turkiye Khabar) In a statement issued by Pakistan’s Foreign Office, the drone attacks on Saudi Arabia were strongly condemned, while full solidarity and support for the brotherly Islamic country were expressed.
The spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that the drone attacks carried out on Saudi Arabia on May 17, 2026, were a serious violation of its sovereignty and territorial integrity. He stated that such actions are attempts to undermine peace and stability in the region.
The statement further said that the government and people of Pakistan stand with the government and people of Saudi Arabia during this sensitive situation and will continue every possible cooperation.
It is worth mentioning that according to the Saudi Ministry of Defense, an attempt was made to carry out attacks through three drones from the direction of Iraq; however, the Saudi air defense system responded in time and destroyed all three drones in the air.
