Islamabad (Türkiye News) The Ministry of Interior has presented details in the National Assembly regarding Pakistanis deported from Gulf countries during the past five years.
According to the official document, a total of 164,788 Pakistanis were deported from various Gulf states.
Statistics show that the highest number of deportations took place from Saudi Arabia, from where 108,029 Pakistanis were sent back during the last five years.
Similarly, 40,497 Pakistanis were deported from the United Arab Emirates, 9,814 from Oman, 2,971 from Qatar, 2,779 from Bahrain, and 698 from Kuwait.
The details submitted by the Interior Ministry also mentioned that deportations were carried out on various grounds and legal violations.
