Pakistan Seeks Peace, Diplomatic Efforts Continue for Conflict Resolution, Says Ayaz Sadiq

Islamabad (Turkey News) Speaker of the National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has stated that Pakistan desires an immediate resolution of ongoing conflicts in the region and continues to make strong diplomatic efforts toward this goal. Addressing the Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, he said that Pakistan will continue to play the role of a facilitator in promoting dialogue and engagement between parties. Ayaz Sadiq added that progress has been made on the Gaza peace plan with the support of President Donald Trump and Arab and Islamic countries, including Pakistan, while Pakistan also seeks peace and stability in Afghanistan. He further termed India’s move to suspend the Indus Waters Treaty as illegal and irresponsible, warning that such actions could prove detrimental to regional peace.
