Islamabad (Turkey News): All foreign airlines arriving in Pakistan have been instructed to carry fuel for their return journeys. The Pakistan Airports Authority issued a NOTAM regarding the fuel policy.
According to the NOTAM, foreign airlines will receive only a limited amount of fuel in Pakistan, while domestic airlines will be provided with fuel according to their requirements.
Airline sources reported that a foreign carrier flying from Karachi to Doha had to make an emergency landing in Muscat to refuel. Sources further stated that due to the need to carry extra fuel, some foreign airlines are forced to offload passenger luggage and cargo, affecting both travelers and freight operations.
