Islamabad (Turkiye News) Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif contacted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Suhail Afridi by telephone and strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a police checkpoint in Bannu.
The Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives in the terrorist incident, prayed for the elevation of the ranks of the martyred police personnel, and extended condolences to their families. He also expressed best wishes for the speedy recovery of those injured in the attack.
Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed the commitment of the federal and provincial governments to work together for the complete elimination of terrorism, stating that the federal government would provide every possible assistance to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
He said the government remains fully determined to eradicate all forms of terrorism from the country.
Both leaders also paid tribute to the sacrifices and services of the Pakistan Armed Forces, security agencies, and police personnel engaged in operations against terrorism.
