Occupied Jerusalem / Islamabad (Monitoring Desk): The Israeli government has approved a plan to declare large areas of the West Bank as state-owned, prompting Pakistan to strongly condemn the move and urge the international community to take effective action against it.
The Pakistani Foreign Office stated that Israel’s decision promotes illegal settlement activities and constitutes a clear violation of international law, as well as United Nations Security Council and General Assembly resolutions. The ministry’s statement emphasized that such provocative measures by the occupying power undermine the prospects for a fair, comprehensive, and lasting peace in the region.
Pakistan called on the global community to end Israeli impunity and ensure respect for international law through concrete measures.
