Islamabad: Pakistan and the KfW Development Bank have signed a significant grant agreement, under which KfW will provide Pakistan with €18 million. The grant aims to advance projects promoting green energy and renewable energy in the northern regions of the country.
According to the Economic Affairs spokesperson, the agreement was signed on behalf of Pakistan by Mohammad Humair Kareem, Secretary of Economic Affairs, while the KfW Country Director signed on behalf of the German bank.
The spokesperson emphasized that this grant represents an important step toward promoting alternative energy sources in Pakistan and supporting environmentally friendly development initiatives.
