Astara (Turkiye Khabar) – More than 100 foreign citizens have been evacuated from Iran. According to the regional correspondent of AZERTAC, the individuals evacuated through the state border checkpoint in Astara today, between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., were mostly citizens of Russia, China, and Pakistan.
The process is being carried out in stages, and all relevant procedures and regulations are being implemented at the border checkpoint. Among those evacuated, the largest number were Russian citizens. In the final stage, approximately 70 Russian citizens were sent back to their countries via Azerbaijan.
