New Justice and Interior Ministers Appointed in Turkey Following Presidential Decree by Erdoğan

Istanbul (Turkey News) – Following a presidential decree signed by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Ikn Gurlik, Istanbul’s Chief Public Prosecutor, has been appointed as the new Minister of Justice, while Mustafa Çiftçi, Governor of the Eastern Mediterranean region, has been named the Minister of Interior.

The appointments were published in the official gazette and implemented under Articles 104 and 106 of the Turkish Constitution. Ikn Gurlik replaces Yılmaz Tanç as Justice Minister, while Mustafa Çiftçi takes over the Interior Ministry from Ali Yerli Kaya.

After the appointments, Ali Yerli Kaya handed over the responsibilities of the Interior Ministry to the new minister and extended his best wishes. Yılmaz Tanç also expressed pride in serving alongside President Erdoğan and being part of the ruling party’s political journey in his farewell message following Ikn Gurlik’s appointment.
