Istanbul (Türkiye News) Polish President Karol Nawrocki has said that the NATO summit to be held in July in Türkiye will clearly demonstrate the alliance’s political unity and military strength, particularly in the context of security concerns linked to Russia.
According to the Romanian news agency Agerpres, he made these remarks during a joint press conference after the Bucharest Nine (B9) meeting in Romania.
He said that ahead of the NATO summit scheduled for July 7–8 in Ankara, “constructive discussions” had taken place among allied countries.
The Polish president said that cooperation among B9 countries is strong, and there is support for including Nordic countries such as Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, and Denmark to further strengthen security on NATO’s eastern flank.
