Islamabad, Karachi (Turkey News) — A total of 116 international flights from various airports in Pakistan to the Middle East have been cancelled, affecting thousands of passengers.
At Karachi Airport, 32 flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain were cancelled. Islamabad saw 28 cancellations, Lahore 20, and Peshawar 16, with other cities also experiencing disruptions.
Affected airlines include Emirates, Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, PIA, Airblue, Flydubai, Qatar Airways, and Fly Jinnah. Authorities have advised passengers to check with their respective airlines before departure for the latest updates.
According to the Aviation Association, tensions in the Middle East have led to approximately 9,500 flight cancellations across seven airports so far.
