Baku (Turkey News) President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with Deryageldi Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag city under the President of Turkmenistan.
According to the report, Deryageldi Orazov conveyed the good wishes of the leadership of Turkmenistan, namely the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and President Serdar Berdimuhamedow, to the President of Azerbaijan.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude for these messages and also requested that his goodwill messages be conveyed to the leadership of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting, the guest congratulated Azerbaijan on the 13th session of the World Urban Planning Forum held in the country.
The President of Azerbaijan thanked Turkmenistan for the initiative of constructing a mosque in Fuzuli and stated that work on the project is ongoing.
It was also emphasized in the discussion that during the occupation these areas were severely damaged and cities were destroyed; however, large-scale reconstruction and rehabilitation work is now underway in these regions.
Deryageldi Orazov stated that he will again visit the liberated areas and personally inspect various projects.
