Baku (Turkey News) President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met on May 17 with Deryageldi Orazov, Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag City under the President of Turkmenistan.
According to the report, Deryageldi Orazov conveyed the good wishes of the leadership of Turkmenistan, including the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow and President Serdar Berdimuhamedow, to the President of Azerbaijan.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed gratitude for these messages and requested that his own messages of goodwill be conveyed to the leadership of Turkmenistan as well.
During the meeting, the guest congratulated Azerbaijan on the 13th session of the World Urban Planning Forum held in the country.
The President of Azerbaijan thanked Turkmenistan for the initiative to construct a mosque in Fuzuli and stated that work on the project is ongoing.
It was also emphasized in the discussion that the areas had suffered severe damage during the occupation, with cities being destroyed, but now large-scale reconstruction and rehabilitation work is underway in these regions.
Deryageldi Orazov stated that he will visit the liberated territories again to personally inspect various ongoing projects.
