Khankendi (Turkiye Khabar) A special festival was organized in the city of Khankendi, Azerbaijan, to raise public awareness regarding the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
According to the official news agency, the main evening program of the festival was held at “Victory Square” in Khankendi, where a large number of citizens participated.
During the event, Eldar Rasulov, head of the media and content department of the “WUF13 Azerbaijan” operational company, briefed participants about the objectives, scope, and details of the festival and its programs.
The festival featured various educational and recreational activities, including informational games, interactive sessions, presentations, and public discussions. Through these activities, concepts such as sustainable urban development, modern urban facilities, accessible environments for all, and future city planning were presented to the public.
The program concluded with a colorful cultural show and a fireworks display.
According to organizers, the next phase of the WUF13 festival will be held in the city of Sumqayit, while the final event in the series will take place on May 13 in Baku at Clock Tower Square near the Seaside Boulevard.
