Baku (Turkey News) President Ilham Aliyev, during a meeting with citizens in the city of Zangilan, said that Azerbaijan never had the intention of harming Armenia or taking away its independence.
The President further stated that even at present, the presence of European observers on the Azerbaijan–Armenia border is merely symbolic. According to him, if Azerbaijan wanted to take any action, the situation could change immediately; however, he made it clear that Azerbaijan has already achieved all its objectives.
In his statement, Ilham Aliyev emphasized that in terms of the regional situation and border monitoring, some international actors are unnecessarily trying to portray themselves as more significant than they actually are.
