Baku (Turkey News) The 81st anniversary of the historic victory over fascism during the Second World War was commemorated. On this occasion, the President of Azerbaijan and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visited the grave of twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Major General of Tank Forces Hazi Aslanov.
The President and First Lady laid flowers at the mausoleum and paid tribute to all Azerbaijani martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the war. On this occasion, the sacrifices of war heroes across the country were remembered and their services were highly honored.
