Baku: Azerbaijani singer Jiva has unveiled her new song “Just Go,” which she will perform at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The official music video of the song has also been released.
According to Azerbaijan’s state news agency AzerTAc, “Just Go” is an emotional track centered on themes of love, sadness, and inner strength. The song tells the story of a person who, after facing disappointment in love, rediscovers themselves and begins a new chapter in life. Through this composition, Jiva’s powerful voice and expressive singing style are prominently highlighted.
The lyrics and music of the song were composed by Azerbaijani-American musician Fuad Javadov, who has been involved in various music projects in Azerbaijan and the United States for several years as a composer and producer. The official music video was directed by Farhad Ali.
Fuad Javadov was born in 1961 in Baku. He received his musical education at the Uzeyir Hajibeyov Azerbaijan State Music Academy. Since 1995, he has been living in the United States, where he has released five music albums and composed music for film and television projects. He is currently based in Los Angeles and continues his creative work.
It is worth noting that Jiva was recently selected as Azerbaijan’s representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The 70th edition of the competition will be held in Vienna, the capital of Austria. The first semi-final will take place on May 12, the second semi-final on May 14, while the grand final will be held on May 16.
