Las Vegas (Sports Desk) – On Sunday, at the Meta Apex event, J’Opetia decisively defeated Brandon Glanton to claim the inaugural ZFA World Cruiserweight Championship.
According to news agency NZ citing ESPN, all three judges scored the match 119–106 in favor of Opetia.
The Australian fighter, hailing from Gold Coast, maintained full control from start to finish, winning every round. This marked his first fight in the United States. Despite the one-sided nature of the bout, Opetia was unable to achieve a knockout, as Glanton showed remarkable resilience, enduring several heavy punches throughout the match.
