Israeli Strikes in Lebanon Kill One, Injure Eight

Lebanon (Monitoring Desk): Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon have killed one person and injured eight others. According to news agencies, the Israeli military conducted operations on Monday targeting various areas, including residential neighborhoods in two villages.

The official Lebanese news agency reported that the strikes hit the southern towns of Kfar Tebnit and Ain Qana, damaging buildings and producing visible clouds of smoke in Ain Qana. Earlier, the Israeli military had issued evacuation warnings for these areas, claiming the strikes targeted weapons storage facilities. However, Lebanese authorities stated that most of the bombing struck residential areas.

According to Lebanon’s Ministry of Health, one person was killed and four others injured in an attack in the southern Ansariya region, while another four were wounded in Qleileh. Several vehicles were also hit, and the strikes were carried out without prior warning.

Despite the ceasefire agreement reached in November 2024, Israeli attacks in Lebanon have continued. Since the ceasefire, more than 360 people have been killed in Israeli operations, and Lebanon has repeatedly protested these actions, calling them a violation of the agreement.
