Tel Aviv (Monitoring Desk) Israeli forces carried out raid operations in different areas of the occupied West Bank cities of Ramallah and Al-Bireh, increasing tensions in the region.
According to reports, Israeli military units entered several locations in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, while operations were also conducted in the northern villages of Al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah.
Local sources said that clashes took place between Israeli forces and Palestinian residents in Al-Mughayyir. During the confrontation, the forces reportedly fired tear gas as well as what were described as toxic gas canisters.
The operations created fear and panic among the local population, while daily life in several areas was also disrupted.
