Islamabad (Turkiye News): A high-level consultative meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was held, where political and military leadership expressed firm resolve to make the ceasefire negotiations successful.
According to sources, senior civilian and military officials participated in the meeting and held detailed discussions regarding the talks taking place in Islamabad, while key decisions were also made in this regard.
Participants included Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff Asim Munir, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, and Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, among other senior officials.
The participants reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the success of the Islamabad talks at all costs. It was also highlighted that Pakistan’s positive and constructive role regarding the ceasefire is being appreciated globally, and this opportunity for peace will not be allowed to go to waste.
