Islamabad Tablighi Ijtema: 250,000 Participants Expected

Islamabad (Turkiye Khabar) A three-day Tablighi Ijtema is underway in the federal capital, with an expected participation of 250,000 people. Religious activities are continuing with great enthusiasm at Jamia Abul Qasim Tablighi Center in connection with the gathering.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Tablighi center, where senior members Yusuf Qureshi, Abdul Rehman Qureshi, and Dr. Saleem, who came from Raiwind and Rawalpindi centers, welcomed him. On this occasion, the Interior Minister met with the elders and appreciated the cooperation of the organizers in postponing the gathering during recent negotiations.

Mohsin Naqvi stated that the organizers demonstrated a responsible approach, for which they deserve appreciation. He said that a comprehensive security and traffic plan has been arranged for the gathering to ensure that participants do not face any difficulties.

The Interior Minister termed the role of Tablighi elders important in promoting religious harmony and national unity, stating that they will be invited to deliver a special lecture at Police Lines.

During the gathering, special prayers were offered for peace, stability, and development in the country, while the event will conclude tomorrow morning with a collective prayer.
