Quetta (Turkey News): Amid rising tensions between Iran, United States, and Israel, nineteen Pakistani students studying in Iran have returned home safely.
According to the district administration, the students entered Pakistan through the border town of Taftan. The Deputy Commissioner of Chagai District stated that all students are currently safe and staying at Pakistan House in Taftan.
The returning students were enrolled at a medical educational institution in Zahedan. Among the nineteen students arriving from Tehran, twelve are female students.
According to officials, twelve of the students belong to Punjab, while seven are from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. After completing necessary formalities, all students will be shifted to Quetta, from where they will be sent to their respective hometowns.
Authorities added that, given the border situation, further measures are underway to facilitate the safe return of other Pakistani students from Iran.
