Occupied Jerusalem / Kuwait / Manama / Doha / Abu Dhabi (Monitoring Desk): Iran has launched a new wave of missile attacks on Israel, leaving at least seven people injured, damaging multiple vehicles, and causing significant property destruction. Following missile impacts in Occupied Jerusalem, fires broke out, spreading fear across the area. According to Israeli media, attacks on West Jerusalem killed nine Israeli civilians and injured several others.
Missile strikes were also reported in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and other areas of the West Bank, prompting sirens and forcing citizens to take shelter in bunkers.
Tensions remained high in Gulf countries as well. In Kuwait City, smoke was seen near the US Embassy, prompting firefighters and ambulances to respond. The embassy warned citizens to avoid the vicinity, stay on lower floors, and keep away from windows. Explosions were also reported in Manama, Doha, and Abu Dhabi, with reports of fighter jets flying over Doha and Dubai.
In Erbil, the capital of Iraq’s autonomous Kurdish region, intense explosions were reported. Iraqi air defenses successfully intercepted missiles and drones aimed at Erbil International Airport. In Mina Al Ahmadi, debris from an oil refinery fall injured two workers slightly. Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior advised citizens to move to safe locations and temporarily closed the Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Bridge.
Gulf countries have been placed on high alert, with citizens urged to exercise caution. Meanwhile, Iran has strongly denied all reports of negotiations with United States. Ali Larijani, Secretary of Iran’s National Security Council, stated on social media that Iran will not engage in any talks with Washington. This followed a report claiming attempts to resume nuclear negotiations through Omani intermediaries after the assassination of Ali Khamenei.
Amid escalating regional tensions, military exchanges between Iran and Israel continue, while Gulf states and Iraq have implemented heightened security measures.
