Iran Claims Destruction of Jets, Missiles, and Drones in Single-Day Air Operations

Tehran (Monitoring Desk): Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that multiple aerial targets were successfully destroyed in a single day, including two fighter jets, two cruise missiles, and three drones.

According to a spokesperson, these operations were carried out in various parts of the country and were described as a “black day” for the US and Israeli air forces. The statement added that on Friday, air defense forces shot down two advanced fighter jets.

It was further reported that a modern fighter jet was destroyed in central Iran, whose pilot failed to eject, while another US military aircraft was targeted near the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the IRGC, during operations across different provinces, two cruise missiles were intercepted in Khomein and Zanjan, while two advanced drones were shot down in Isfahan and one drone in Bushehr.

The statement added that all these operations were carried out using advanced air defense systems, and more details are expected to be released.
