Important Panel on Restoration of Palestinian Education System Held at Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Global Figures Attend

Baku (Turkiye Khabar) On April 18, an important panel session was held on the occasion of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum titled “Unity for Peace in Palestine: Facing the Destruction of the Education System and Protecting the Future.”

According to the Azerbaijani state news agency AZERTAC, Azerbaijan’s First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva and her daughter Leyla Aliyeva also attended the event.

Before the start of the ceremony, participants visited the African Culture House stall, where awareness was raised about initiatives to promote African women’s handicrafts and convert them into economic opportunities. This institution was established in 2016 on the initiative of Turkish First Lady Emine Erdogan.

The panel began with the screening of a documentary on Palestine, highlighting the damage caused to the education system in war-affected areas.

Speakers in their addresses emphasized that restoring a safe educational environment for children affected by war, strengthening support systems, and ensuring continuity of education is extremely important for the future of the region.

Emine Erdogan, in her address, said that the messages of the event are a ray of hope for children affected by conflicts around the world. She said that children and youth are the future of any society, and effective measures against elements that promote violence are essential.

Later, participants took commemorative photographs and also visited a special exhibition related to the destruction of the education system in Palestine.
