Hezbollah Launches Long-Range Rocket Attack on Israel, Panic in the Capital

Beirut/Tel Aviv (Monitoring Desk): Hezbollah launched long-range rockets from Lebanon targeting the Israeli capital as well as central and northern regions.

According to international news agencies, as the rockets approached Israel, warning sirens blared and residents rushed frantically to secure shelters, including underground bunkers. This marks Hezbollah’s longest-range missile attack to date, with the potential for significant damage.

A red alert was already in effect in the Israeli capital, and the fresh attacks heightened fear among civilians. Ambulances and rescue teams were seen rushing to various locations, while the U.S. accelerated evacuation measures for its citizens in Israel.

Israeli media reported that civilians were instructed to move to shelters and the air defense system was put on high alert. A U.S. State Department official in Washington stated that approximately 500 American citizens were being contacted directly to ensure their safe return.
