Headline: Progress in Border Delimitation Process Between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Key Decisions in 13th Meeting

Baku (Turkey News) The 13th meeting of the commissions on border delimitation and border security between Azerbaijan and Armenia was held in the Aghviran region of Armenia.

The meeting was co-chaired by Azerbaijan’s Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev and Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan. The parties expressed satisfaction that the meeting was once again held in the host country, Armenia.

During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on organizational and technical issues related to the implementation of the border delimitation process.

Both sides agreed on three important draft guidelines for the delimitation process, including procedures for the experts’ committee, preparation of border maps, and rules for the preparation and publication of delimitation documents.

The parties decided to submit these draft guidelines to their respective governments for approval.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the two deputy prime ministers also held a separate discussion on other matters of mutual interest.
