Baku (Turkey News) Azerbaijan’s Special Task Forces hold a significant and unique position in national defense and are regarded as an important pillar of modern military history due to their silent yet effective performance.
According to the report, loyalty for Azerbaijan’s Special Task Forces is not just a slogan but a way of life, which is reflected in their operational conduct and sacrifices. Their motto is that loyalty is their honor and identity.
Every year, April 30 is observed to mark the establishment of these special units, which is considered an important milestone in the country’s defense capability.
According to details, in 1999, on the orders of Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev, a highly organized, rapid-response, and combat-capable unit was established within the armed forces.
Veteran officers and personnel from the First Nagorno-Karabakh War played a key role in forming this unit, while its reorganization was carried out with the cooperation of the Turkish Armed Forces and special task forces.
The report states that these forces not only play a crucial role in national defense but also serve as a symbol of modern military training and international cooperation.
