Baku (Turkey News) The third round of consular consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Serbia was held in Belgrade.
According to the report, the Azerbaijani delegation was led by the head of the Consular Department, Emil Safarov, while the Serbian side was represented by the Deputy Minister for Consular Affairs and Ambassador Natasa Rashevich.
The talks reviewed the current situation and future prospects of consular cooperation between the two countries, and also considered the possibility of new bilateral agreements in this field.
The two sides held detailed discussions on reforms introduced in consular services, experiences in digitalization, and the exchange of best operational practices.
The meeting emphasized the need to further strengthen mutual cooperation in the areas of migration, justice, education, employment, and social protection.
Both sides also agreed to continue joint efforts to ensure effective consular protection of citizens in crisis situations and to improve the management of labor migration.
