Landi Kotal (Turkiye News) Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi visited the Afghan refugees transit camp established in Landi Kotal and reviewed the facilities and repatriation process. During the visit, the governor inspected biometric registration, medical facilities, and other arrangements for the refugees, while officials gave a detailed briefing on the return process of Afghan families through the Torkham border.
Faisal Karim Kundi met with women, children, and elderly individuals at the camp and emphasized that the repatriation process must be made easy, transparent, and well-organized under all circumstances.
Strict security arrangements were in place during the visit. Under the supervision of DPO Khyber Waqar Ahmed, additional police personnel were deployed, while high alert was maintained in Landi Kotal and surrounding areas.
