Flight Operations Resume, Gulf Flights Restarted

Karachi (Turkiye News): Following the ceasefire in the Middle East, the restoration of flight operations in Pakistan has begun, with flights to Gulf countries gradually resuming from various airports.

According to sources, flights have started departing from major airports across the country, including Allama Iqbal International Airport, while airlines have also begun preparing new schedules for full restoration of operations.

Details indicate that nine flights departed from Lahore to destinations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Manama, Kuwait City, Doha, Jeddah, and Dammam. Meanwhile, eight flights departed from Islamabad to Gulf destinations.

Similarly, 18 flights departed from Jinnah International Airport, six from Peshawar, and four from Multan.

Airport sources stated that full restoration of flight operations may still take some time, as the airspace of certain countries remains partially closed.

They further added that due to tensions between Iran and the United States, more than 3,000 flights from Pakistan were canceled over the past 40 days, severely affecting the aviation system.
