Islamabad (Turkey News) — On the completion of one year of the “Battle of Truth,” the mother of martyred Naik Muhammad Waqar Khalid, social activists, and young people expressed their emotions and reflections.
The mother of the martyr said that during the “Battle of Truth,” her son was stationed in the Banalah sector. On his last phone call on May 10, he said, “Pray that I am granted martyrdom.” She said she considers herself a fortunate mother whose son sacrificed his life for the homeland, and she wishes that her grandson also joins the Pakistan Army and serves the country.
A social worker and religious scholar said that during the “Battle of Truth,” their rescue team provided immediate medical assistance to the injured, while food and water supplies were also ensured. According to him, this spirit was a result of faith and love for the Pakistan Army.
Young people said in their remarks that they are the future of the nation and their morale is strong. They said they are always ready to serve the country with knowledge, character, and determination.
They said that during the “Battle of Truth,” the nation proved that it stands for truth, and if anyone casts an evil eye on the country, they will respond unitedly.
