Riyadh (Sports Desk): Exciting news for football fans as the FIFA World Cup 2026 trophy has begun its global tour. The trophy has reached Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, where former Italian football star Alessandro Del Piero presented it to fans.
The 150-day trophy tour will visit 30 FIFA associations around the world. Saudi Arabia is the first stop of this global journey and is also set to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
The tour will also include stops in Spain, Morocco, and Portugal, offering fans the unique opportunity to see the trophy up close.
The FIFA World Cup 2026 is scheduled to take place this June across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
