Karachi (Abaseen Khabar) Senior Sindh Minister Sharjeel Memon has said that the federal government views Sindh’s performance with appreciation. He stated that the government is making efforts to ensure wheat reaches the open market so that cheap flour can be provided to the public.
While talking to the press, he said that strict action would be taken against those hiding wheat stocks and creating artificial inflation, while the movement of wheat outside the province would also be closely monitored.
He further said that special funds would be approved to provide better food for prisoners in jails.
Sharjeel Memon also stated that there has been no contact yet with the federal government regarding the Twenty-Eighth Constitutional Amendment, and any decision would only be made after the details of the amendment come to light.
